Hola!, tengo instalada una advantek ATV-TUNER-F (http://www.advanteknetworks.com/products/tvtuners/atvtunerf.html) , con lspci encuentro que lo que tengo es

instalo el tvtime segun el tutorial (http://www.ubuntu-es.org/index.php?q=node/61271) o sea

$ sudo aptitude install tvtime

selecciono NTSC (Ecuador), cable +100 canales, y sigo con

$ sudo rmmod bttv

$ sudo rmmod tuner

$ sudo modprobe bttv card=14 tuner=2

Ahora bien mi tarjeta no esta en la lista: http://enpc3240.eas.asu.edu/lxr/linux/http/source/Documentation/video4linux/bttv/CARDLIST

Asumi card=14 y tuner =2 porque tiene el mismo chip que la Aimslab VHX del tutorial, pero al arrancar tvtime(despues de

$ sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/options

Agregaremos la siguiente línea:
