Error de samba

Hola amigos del foro, he estado tratando de configurar samba en fedora 8, lo habia configurado en centos 4.3 sin ningun problema , pero en fedora 8 y en centos 5 me da un error al entrar desde una maquina con windows, las carpetas que he compartido se ven desde la maquina windows, pero al entrar a esa carpeta me sale el sgte error:subir imagenes

El error que me sale al intentar ingresar al servidor samba desde windows, el que sale en la foto es el sgte:
no tiene acceso a \\192.168.1.3\publico (la ip del server). puede ser que no tenga permisos para utilizar este recurso de red. Pongase en contacto con el administrador de este servidor para comprobar si tiene permisos de acceso.

El nombre de red especificado ya no esta disponible.

Ese es el error que sale en la foto, esto me ha pasado en Fedora 8 y centos 5 , pero en centos 4.3 no tube problemas...

le dejare el archivo de configuracion de samba!

aca esta el archivo smb.conf, he modificado tambien el lmhosts poniendo la ip de mi lan y su nombre.
-el firewall esta desactivado
-le he dados todos los permisos a la carpeta publica
-tambien he cambiado el security = yes a security = SHARE.
Pero no se, espero que me ayuden...

Existe la carpeta /home/publico ?????

Prueba cambiando estos valores antes:

password server = no
security = share

Esta es la forma más simple de compartir con samba desde linux, luego le vas aumentando seguridades según requieras.

Hola amigos del foro, gracias por todas sus ayuda q me han dado, las he considerado todas...

Fedora 8 al igual q centos 5 son sistemas muy seguros, por eso es la causa de mi error. Selinux de hace tiempo q comenze a utilizar fedora 8 me ha traido varios problemas como por ejemplo: la no reproducion de ficheros mp3 en xmms, la denegacion del archivo tls de amsn y cosas asi. En este caso con samba selinux era el que me estaba denegando el acceso a los ficheros del servidor y he cambiado esos permisos con el sgte comando:

bash# > setsebool -P samba_enable_home_dirs=1

cambiando el valor booleano a un verdadero, por eso el 1...

Espero que le sirva a alguien q halla tenido el mismo problema...

Problemas con samba

Hola a todos,tengo el mismo problema con un servidor debian (El nombre de red especificado ya no esta disponible)he probado de todo actualizar samba y no logro encontrar la solucion mi servidor esta en Debian 6.0.3, agradecere me brinden un apoyo en encontrar una solucion a este tema de antemano muchas gracias
